Master Your Dive Gear
Are you looking to maximize your diving experience and dive like a pro? The SSI Equipment Techniques course is designed to teach you the ins and outs of scuba diving equipment, from basic assembly to intermediate maintenance. With the right knowledge, you can get the most from your investment and enjoy safe and comfortable dives for years to come.
Course content includes in-depth training in:
- Gain in-depth information about the components of your Total Diving System
- Learn how to choose and configure your dive gear
- Learn how to identify and fix common problems
- Discover essential maintenance and cleaning tips
- Practice basic preventative dive equipment maintenance and how to store your dive kit
- Note: this is not a technician class
Prerequisites:
- You must be at least 10 years old.
- Be an Open Water Diver or equivalent
What to Bring:
- No equipment is need.
Where:
- The classroom sessions will be held at Ski/Scuba Center.
Training Materials:
Upon making a deposit for this program, you will have access to your digital training program on your MYSSI App or when you log in at www.divessi.com. You must complete all quizzes with a score of 100% before you arrive for class. There will be a multiple-choice exam at the end of the classroom portion. You must pass the final exam with a score of 80% or higher.
Training Dives:
- There are no training dives required for this course.

- Total Duration of class is one evening: 6:00 – 10:00pm
