Almost all of us have tried swimming underwater, however, freediving is a step up from this. Freedivers dive deeper and they stay down for longer in some cases 2 to 3 minutes. You might think how can they do that? It’s about training and technique. Believe it or not almost everyone can achieve surprising levels of freediving quite quickly.

The SSI Try Freediving course does exactly what it says, giving you the chance to experience what it is like to freedive. You will dive in the pool to a maximum depth of 10ft. You will also be introduced to some of the techniques that freedivers use to increase their breathhold time and thus be able to dive deeper and for longer.

Minimum Age: 10yrs

Prerequisite:

• Be a proficient swimmer
